Because we focus on the well-being of the whole person and look beyond the presented symptoms, treatments vary from person to person.
There is no-one better than yourself at knowing where the root of the problem lies. Accessing our subconscious mind and inner being is the first step in understanding our dis-ease and identifying what is required to heal ourselves.
Most dis-ease that we experience in our lives can be contributed to one or more of three categories:
Lack of self-worth and self-hatred
Anger and Frustration
Medical professionals may tell us that our symptoms are X, so therefore we must have Y, but is analysis and treatment of the symptoms alone enough? Often, the root cause of the ailment goes a lot deeper and is related to patterns of behavior based on beliefs and life experiences.
Balanced Reflection understands this and acknowledges that we are all individuals. The balance of mind/body/spirit in each of us is completely unique, therefore we do not implement a treatment based solely on the idea of ‘One size fits all’ but rather seek to tailor treatment to the individual. In this way, we are able to offer a unique and highly personalized treatment plan.
In the modern world, we have compartmentalized ourselves and the world around us to help us cope with the pressures of everyday living. Viewing our lives and ourselves in this way has meant that we have cut ourselves off from the whole and have a skewed perception of what is reality. Humans are no longer connected with the world around them in the same way as other animals. We do not interact with our environment or each other in a true way anymore. Instead, we categorize everything and behave in a manner according to what we think is appropriate for that category. This creates a distortion of our own realities, causing our perception of occurrences to be marred based on our own feelings of doubt, desire, and loyalty. Not only have we created judgments based on our own inhibitions, insecurities, and weaknesses, but we have also become too dependent on our rationale and logic, moving away from abilities to sense and feel intuitively and thus becoming trapped in our own brains.
The way forward only becomes clear after personal acknowledgement of the above and a willingness to open our hearts and minds to explore life beyond our individual perceptions of reality and our often limiting concepts of self. When we are willing to embrace this new way of being, it suddenly becomes clear that life is based on patterns of behavior relating to the categories of lack of self-worth / self-hatred, control, and anger / frustration. Tuning in to our inner self, discovering who we are and why we are who we are, and working on inner healing and acceptance is a unique and individual experience and a journey of powerful insight and revelation.
